MMORPG with relaxing exploration

Sky: Children of the Light is a free-to-play adventure game from thatgamecompany, hailed as being the most heartfelt MMORPG. You take your place among the people of a fantasy kingdom, tasked by the Realms of the Sky to rid the world of darkness. Your quest will bring you to various relics of power, murals that tell the world’s story, and trapped spirits.

With a visual quality comparable to games like Ori and The Will of the Wisps or A Short Hike, Sky: Children of the Light is a relaxing experience you can enjoy alone or with your would-be friends.

Travel across aesthetic realms

Sky: Children of the Light lets you explore a fantasy kingdom. You have a magical cape that allows you to glide, ride currents, and navigate around the game’s different maps, not to mention that it serves as a key customization option. As you find new locations, you will find Spirits that, when released, may be used to unlock additional in-game content.

Another key feature of the game is its focus on social mechanics. The game has a unique feature called Forging Candles, which are unlocked upon establishing connections with other players. You can interact with and befriend them, or even go explore the seven unique realms. Each of these locations has a unique trait, but they all adhere to the same relaxing overall vibes of the game.

However, this social aspect comes at a price. While chatting with other players in other games is an inherent feature, here it is an unlockable skill. You need to meet the prerequisites first. Also, while there might be spooky or scary at times, the game has no notions of combat or violence. Its lack of conflict makes the game feel repetitive and boring after some time.

A peaceful and relaxing game

Sky: Children of the Light is a perfect title for those looking for a relaxing way to pass the time. Walk or fly around as you find new friends and places to explore. However, its lack of combat or conflict in the story could make the game tiring after some time. Additionally, turning a basic feature like chatting into an unlockable ability adds a minor yet unexpected challenge.

Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
